How applications, payment, deposits and refunds work for Intimacy on Screen, and what you can expect from the workshop and from Izzy.

Applying and deadlines
Every cohort has an application deadline, listed on the apply page. We read applications in batches. If you apply after a deadline, we consider you for the next cohort.
Izzy reads every application. If yours is accepted, you’re invited to a video call before you enroll. Nothing is charged until you enroll.
Who the workshop is for
Intimacy on Screen is for anyone who works with intimacy: on film and stage sets, from staged intimacy to real sex scenes, and in any work where intimacy is part of the job. Coordinators, directors, producers, performers and writers take it, and so do coaches, therapists and educators. People come to it to:
- make intimate scenes safely and professionally
- add a new skill to their work, or move into a new role
- produce ethical adult film
- help end the stigma around intimacy on screen
You need to be 18 or older. Most students are between 25 and 45.
It isn’t for you if you’re looking for a certification or a license to work as an intimacy coordinator. RedCheeks isn’t accredited, and we don’t give tests or grades. We also don’t hand out ready-made protocols.
Time and format
The workshop runs for five weeks, online. Each week has two live calls on Zoom, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 PM CET, with role play and feedback. Three of those calls are guest lectures. You also get two audio lessons a week.
Plan on about six hours a week: four hours of live calls and about two hours of homework and feedback.
Each week you meet your group, practice, give feedback to others and reflect on what you learned.
What Izzy does, and doesn’t do
Izzy leads the workshop. She will:
- lead the live calls and the role play
- keep the group a safe place to learn, for you and for everyone else
- ask hard questions and give honest feedback
- hold you to the commitments you make
- tell you when she thinks you’re holding back
- encourage you to learn from and work with the rest of your cohort
In the Masterclass, you also get five one-on-one coaching calls of 60 minutes with Izzy, and her feedback on all your written work.
Izzy won’t:
- offer therapy or counselling
- give business, fundraising, sales or career advice
- introduce you to people outside RedCheeks
- hand you the “right” answer, or tell you only what you want to hear
Tuition
Foundation €1,250
Masterclass €2,900
Prices include VAT. Tuition covers the workshop and all its materials. There are no other fees. You can pay in full, or in three or five monthly installments.
If you took Permission Practice first, the €250 counts toward your tuition.
Many employers have a budget for professional development. If yours needs anything from us to approve it, write to academy@redcheeks.org.
Deposit, refunds and deferral
Deposit. To accept your place, you pay a deposit of €500. It counts toward your tuition, and if you pay in installments it is your first one. The deposit isn’t refundable.
The rest of your tuition is fully refundable up to 30 days before your cohort starts. After that, it isn’t refundable.
Moving to a later cohort. If you move your place to the next open cohort, your full tuition is no longer refundable from that moment.
Withdrawing. If you withdraw and apply again later, you pay a new deposit as part of your tuition.
Retakes. Alumni can take the workshop again in a later cohort for free, as long as they do the work.
Permission Practice
Permission Practice costs €250 plus VAT. It’s digital content you can access straight away, so when you buy it you agree to start right away and give up the 14-day right to cancel. It isn’t refundable.
